WHAT WE DO
Osteopathy is a form of drug-free non-invasive manual medicine that focuses on total body health by treating and strengthening the musculoskeletal framework, which includes the joints, muscles and spine. Its aim is to positively affect the body’s nervous, circulatory and lymphatic systems.
This therapy is a unique holistic (whole body) approach to health care. We do not simply concentrate on treating the problem area, but use manual techniques to balance all the systems of the body, to provide overall good health and wellbeing.
We use a variety of osteopathic techniques to allow our treatments to be tailored to suit your individual needs and to assist you to achieve and maintain optimal health and pain free movement.

Myotherapy is a relatively new physical therapy that focuses on treating the soft and connective tissues of the body drawing on a variety of modalities. Myofacial pain is the medical term for describing muscular pain and discomfort, which is where the modality name is derived from. Treatment is directed at the fascia or soft tissue component of our connective tissue, which includes the muscles, ligaments and tendons.
These elements provide the crucial support and protection for the internal organs and structures of the body, and if stimulated in the appropriate way can promote healing of the nervous, skeletal and circulatory systems, amongst others. Muscular pain is typically the result of an injury or strain related to repetitive motions, general fatigue, lack of exercise or a medical condition.
